About Mallacoota

Mallacoota is situated on the South Eastern corner of Australia.

The town is surrounded by the Croajingolong National Park and is characterised by a maze of lakes and rivers spilling into the Southern Ocean. Native flora and fauna abound, while the opportunities for recreational activities are almost endless.

The town is a popular holiday destination for fishermen, beachgoers, bushwalkers, campers and holiday makers of all persuasions.

The area's natural beauty is truly stunning, with the Howe Ranges forming a backdrop to the two main lakes to the North and sweeping views of the ocean available from many vantage points in and around town.
